Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor
Lynn Roy, P-LPC
Mental health counseling for children and adults
About Lynn
I look forward to working with you on your journey to being the best version of yourself. Through focusing on your values and your strengths, we will work together to provide you with the tools you need to be emotionally stronger and healthier. I approach therapy primarily through a CBT model (cognitive behavior therapy), and work with you to reframe your thinking to best manage your emotions.
You will learn tangible skills to add to your daily habits to help you find peace and balance in your life. I work with children ages 6 through adulthood. I work with clients struggling with relationships, adjustments and transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, boundary setting, healthy communication and conflict resolution, and self development.
My approach to therapy is to recognize the dignity in each person as created with their own unique gifts and talents. Inviting faith into the conversation at therapy is welcome and encouraged. Knowing who you are and what you value will empower you to live life with purpose and meaning. I look forward to working with you!
